2009 Spartan High School Showcase

    -Saturday, November 14, 2009

►Check-In and Hours

    -Registration/check-in – 8:15am

    -Showcase - 9:00am – 5:00pm

►Campers

    -Grades 9-12, only

►Purpose

    -This is an opportunity for players to showcase their skills on the new Spartans Baseball Field

    -This is open to all high school students, including incoming freshmen 

    -Conducting the camp will be The University of Tampa coaching staff, 4-year and Junior College coaches,
     and Major League Baseball scouts

►Cost

    -$125
    -A $25 processing fee will be charged on all refunds

►What to Bring   

    -Baseball glove, baseball bat, Baseball helmet, tennis shoes, baseball pants, baseball cleats, baseball cap,  

     batting gloves, catching gear.

    -Spending money for the camp store (drinks, snacks, apparel)

    -All campers will be provided with lunch in the cafeteria

►Camp Features       

    -Conducted by The University of Tampa baseball coaches

    -Other instructors and evaluators include other four-year and Junior College coaches and professional scouts

    -Evaluation of hitting, fielding, pitching, and catching, skills

    -Information on the recruiting process

    -Games for evaluation

    -Question and answer session with coaches and parents
