2008 Youth Camps
Information and
Guidelines
►Dates
-June 9-13; 16-20
-July 7-11, 21-25

►Cost
-Weekly Campers
-$195 per week
-$165 each additional camper in family
-Daily Campers
-$55 per day
-Note: There is a $25 processing fee for all
refunds
►Check-In
and Hours
-Check-in:
Each Monday morning of camp weeks from 8:00-8:45am
-Please have exact
change if making a cash payment
-All campers must
check-in with a parent or guardian
-A staff member will
be available promptly at 8:00am for early drop off during the week
-Please
do not drop campers off any earlier as there will be no supervision
-Hours:
Monday-Thursday: 9:00am-4:00pm; Friday: 9:00am-12:00pm
-Location: The
Spartan Baseball Field at the University of Tampa

►Camp
Objectives
-The Spartans Baseball Camp is geared to improve each camper's overall
baseball skills
-Emphasis
will be placed in the following areas:
-Fielding
-Throwing
-Hitting
-Pitching
-Base Running
-Game Situations
-We reserve the right
to arrange groups according to playing experience and baseball ability
►Personal
Items
**NOTE: Spartan
Baseball Camps is not responsible for lost or stolen items**
-Mark/label
all personal items
-Bring a gym bag to carry all
marked items
-Campers are provided with a
Spartans Baseball hat at check-in
►Lunch/Concessions
-Lunch
is provided at each full day of camp
-Campers may bring their own lunch
if desired
-Concession/Souvenir Stand will be
open at the field during camp hours
-Extra spending money is suggested
so campers may purchase:
-Soft drinks, bottled
water, snacks, candy, and official University of Tampa gear

-Sign the parent/guardian release
-Send the completed registration
form, signed release, and
payment to the address in the brochure
►Supervision
and Discipline
-Supervision is
provided by the staff from check-in until dismissal
-Each camper is
informed of the Camp's rules, regulations, and responsibilities upon
arrival
-Each camper is
liable for any damage to the University of Tampa property
-The Camp will not
tolerate: any camper who is disruptive, destroys property, or does not
conduct
himself in a positive manner
-Inappropriate
behavior will result in a phone call to the camper's parent/guardian
asking them to
pick up their child
-No refunds or credits
will be given
-Parents/Guardians are
responsible for their child's actions

Note to Parents/Guardians
-Thank you very much for

-We welcome your presence at our
camps in the stands to watch the daily activities
-Observers may not enter the field
at any time
-We kindly ask that you not give
personal instruction to campers during camp to eliminate confusion
